I like Judge Zondo...he appears ponderous and slow but that's deceptive. He is a very intelligent man with wisdom and ability to see and discern and has a strong essence of good old fashioned integrity. It's a pity we don't have more officials in authority than him.

Agrizzi's (testimony) whistle blowing is very detailed and revealing and backed with records and even videos and because it's contrite and not clemency seeking it rings out the truth.

As much as one can be horrified in his employment in the past, one can admire his courage now...he is a targeted man and could easily be taken out in this country where corruption in very deep and hidden.

The Watson's, especially Gavin literally makes one want to puke, not to mention the greedy, thieving greedy scumponds in authority that bought into bribes. Evil lowest of the low hypocritical treasonists that in any first world country would already be indicted with the obvious evidence...yet they are still running around busy covering up and destroying documents and evidence.

Take for example...the Wind farm project in the Eastern Cape. The Watson's own a farm next to a Wildlife Reserve there...it is a sanctuary and breeding ground of the beautiful rare Verreaux aka Black Eagle (Dassie Vanger in Afrikaans). These magnificient birds of prey are listed as endangered and are indeed one of most beautiful birds in the world, as regal as the Golden Eagle and Martial Eagle. Very powerful birds but sensitive to man's encroachment.

If you understand what a Windfarm is you can see how these will damage the swooping flights of these birds.

Be that as it may, let's get to the foul play. Nonvula Mokonyane (suddenly switched to Minister of Enviroment Affairs from another portfolio pending the Watson's proposal to do wind farming here) has been apparently been bribed with substantial cash packages and huge Christmas packages over this time.

A project that a Minister of Enviroment with any iota of doubt decline if her commitment and responsibilities to the enviroment was bonafide and genuine. I believe she passed it but there has been a public outcry against it.

This evil woman is now going to appear in front of Zondo soon...I'm looking forward to how she'll manage to dodge this bullet.

This is only one...there is far more to come.

What will Ramaphosa do?...is he strong enough?

Your comments Mike...you probably know more how they work than most.

First of all I think that the Watsons are what Agrizzi called them = "real skelms".   Bribery and corruption is there stock in trade.   Gavin Watsons brother - Cheeky Watson - was a big scene in Eastern Province Rugby,  He sent them downhill fast and the franchise went bankrupt despite a grant of R20 nillion he got from the Nelson Mandela  Metro Council - which also went missing.

Anyway the Watsons are all in the Bosasa Debacle and had a long history of crooking,  Two of the four brothers was found guilty of trying to burn down their fathers home and committing fraud through an insurance claim.   It obviously caused headlines in the foreign press as them being targeted by the vicious SA Government.

However - back to the preset situation about the wind farm - and the corruption of the  wonderful Minister who approved the permit approving the project..    It is not surprising Ramaphosa retained her in his cabinet and moved her to Environment Affairs,   My suspicion is that it was specifically done to help the Watsons get the approval in question.

I was delighted when Ramaphosa was elected as ANC leader - even though I was aware if the fact that he served Zuma faithfully for four years as Deputy President.    Anybody would be an improvement on Zuma and hos vicious ex-wife.    Despite the widespread media coverage about the massive bribery and corruption under Zuma Ramaphiosa he claimed innocence amnd pretended he did not know about it.

Fine - but the skeletons keep jumping out of the cupboard.   First of all Naimane got hold of deposit slips om R500 000 paid by Bosasa to his son in question time in Parliament.   Ramaphosa said his son had a consultancy contract with Bosasa and he saw the contract and it was really only a business arrangement that he became aware of recently,   Maimane then asked for a copy of the contract. -  Ramaphosa  panicked and wrote a letter to the Speaker apoloising ad stating that he was mot aware of the fact that Bosasa made a donation of R500 000 to his election fund and he was innocent since he did not know about it.   Believe me  I do not know about sitting in front of my computer writing this thread.   Be it as it may - I\their was another R2 million [aid out to Ramaphosa's son by Bosasa - which is also coming out now.

In fact the name ANC  became under Zuma as the Association of National Criminals  0 which it still is,    I am really missing  the previous Public Protector - Madonsela  knew what she is dealing with.   The present one is a Zuma plant not interested in real bigtime  crime and only interested in protecting the real scoundrels in the ANC.    She is totally worthless and a scoundrel of the worst order herself/

But ow back to Judge Zondo - Madonsela  realized the magnitude pf corruption was massive and  recommended that a  Commission be appointed  and since Zuma himself was implicated that the Chief Justice designate a Judge to head the Commission.   Zuma wanted to have a fit and ran to the Courts to ask for the recommendation ne over-ridden - but the Courts would have nothing of it and after nearly two years elapsed  before Zuma approved the Commission  with Judge Zondo as head,   He never published the regulations covering the work of the Commission - but Ramaphosa finally approved it.    .

Fact is after seeing how Judge Zondo operates and how he deals with things I wish he was the President and Madonsela was Mister of Justice.   Problem is they would have to build two mew major prisons for the scoundrels - they could call it ANC House 1 and House 2.     Problem is bribery and corruption is not confined to the ABC on national level only- it goes down to provincial and local Government too.   By the way a ward in House 1  should be reserved for murderers responsible for killing fellow ANC members who threatened to expose the scoundrels.   Another ward should be reserved for EFF members who raided the VBS  bank and defrauding SARS

I wish somebody would take Mokonyane to court about that wind farm story,   She must pay for her crimes as well.    After all - her previous Department of Water Affairs was an example of  chronic bribery and corruption as well.

All this is coming out fast and I think the ANC may be punished badly in the elections next month,    Ramaphosa is not the Angel of Light he pretends to be and I am afraid the facts are going to result in some real surprises next month.

Yes - I know too much for my own good.    The previous Municipality where I worked until 2012 had R500 million reserve funds for infrastructure  development when I left.  Today there is nothing left of that money - but there was also no infrastructure development either.   What happened to that money?

Watch out for the Magashule episode starting soon in the Zondo Commission.   After Zuma - the biggest crooks still in the ANC hierarchy was Magushule and that crook from North West.   A new book on Magashule came out yesterday,

If the claims in the book is false Magashule has an easy way out - he can claim damages for malicious slander with the Courts,   He will not - since any court action will produce further evidence that would land him i n jail.

The ANC can continue with him as Secretary General and provide massive ammo to their opponents in the elections.   That is one thing they fear - that the ANC retained their reputation for being utterly corrupt and then will be punished in the elections.          .
