Zuma wants to have te Public Protector Report on State Capture thrown out and in his latest submission wants to stop further action on the issue off Sate capture.
It was very interesting  to watch the proceedings on TV and I have a feeling that taking into account the comments and question by the Judge President and the other two judges present I think he will once again come short as to the legal decision on this issue.   At least I hope he does.
Even if his application is rejected he is likely to appeal to the Supreme Court and ultiaely the Constitutional Court so s to delay any decisions on the issue.   He uses the Courts to duck out of judicial processes like the 762 charges against him and I think the Courts realizes that as well.

 Something weird has happened in this case.   Zu,a's initial proposal was that the report of the Public Protector be reviewed and sent back to the Public Protector to finalize the full investigation.
The sending back of the report to the Public Protector has been withdrawn by Zuma's advocate and the Court then went into chmber with a ll the advocates involved and came back with the following ruling:-
*   The applicant (Zuma)  has to submit a memorandum to the court as to how he will proceed in the matter before Tuesday next week;
*    The opposing advocates representing the PP and the DA and other political Parties must suibmit theior proposals to the Court before Tuesday next weekl and
The Court will give its final judgement o the issue before the end of November 2017 and that will deal with basically two issues -
*    How Zuma is to deal with the procedure of appointing a Commission of Enquiry into State Capture; and
*    The issue of costs in this case.
The sudden turnaround by Zuma will not count i9n his favour when judgement is finally delivered.
