No - the musketeers of glorious memory worked together - the members mentioned by the village idiots on site often differ from each other,   The same cannot be said about Mozart. AO, Pakie, the Trooth Fairy and Ceradunce,   The one came up with BS and the rest scream in delight and carried on driving the story discussed into complete and utter idiocy levels unmatched on site before.

They have developed idiocy into a fine art.   Keep it up gents - you are always good for a laugh with your ridiculous nonsense.          .

Why did I not - Denny?.   Both are nice guys - deficient but understandably so and often enough proven as such - but they definitely are not as rugby idiotic as  Mozart and co are..   .

Alberts was the clumsiest loosie ever - he more often than not fell over his won feet and in the main was so useless - he was not really a worthy discussion topic.   Matfield was top class in his prime - unfortunately he fell off the bus when returning from retirement.

However, I do not start weekly discussions on those two - I left it to Mozart and co to do that with their pet hate players.   They cannot help themselves - they have a manic hatred of  for instance Du Toit and Mozart's imagination is  what set them into freakish lunacy.   .  .

Aaaaah shame, Moffie ... feeling left out?

You tried so hard to befriend me ... and then when I rejected your advances, you became all emotional and started calling me "TurnCoat" ... lol!!!

I see you still do ... a little bitter, huh? lol!!!

Never mind ... Poepol is a suitable replacement for Denny, since your falling out. He's submissive, obedient and follows your lead well ... just how you like your Toadies, right?

You sure know how to pick em!!

I wonder if we could persuade people here to all take the same IQ test and post results?

Haha no chance.

Last time I took one of those online ones it said I was 126.

Obviously a crock.

Nevertheless, I found it online. The internet doesn't lie, ever, and please refer to me as borderline genius from now on.

Wehe, Omellete and Omlett are joined by the grovelling Dense and the three of them are having a little circle-jerk about other posters forming a team of three like-minded losers.
You have to love the irony!
Yes Klown, I remember when Moffie applied to become your Servile Gimp and how angry and indignant he got when you told him to piss off. It was hilarious!

Yeah ... Plum ... I'm back in Pretoria and I tell ya ... I'm dying this side. Dramatic difference to the Southern Cape.

Well, Redneck ... there are a few boxes he needed to tick for Toadyship ... but sadly the poor dear was found light in most ... and totally out of his depth in others.

1. You must have a basic understanding of the game ... what a try looks like ... the shape of the ball ... the purpose of the big H's on either side of the field ... and why the players aren't allowed to tackle the ref ... etc.

2. There's no doing a 180 on any points you've argued so passionately about for years ...no matter how stupid.

3. Being aroused when both sides huddle for a scrum is strictly prohibited.

4. Bringing a jar of lube to a rugby match is really poor form.

5. No adult diapers allowed on set ... or anywhere near me.

6. Enjoying one's own flatulence is frowned upon and should be done in private and on your own time.

6. No constant yearning for a reach around from anyone ... including toadies like Poepol ... especially not in public.

7. and of course ... the support of the tired and elderly at national level will not be tolerated ... no matter how good the players were 15 years ago.

Mofie's been pouting ever since ... calling me terrible names like "TurnCoat" ... and as is usually the case ... he insisted on an apology.

I fear the issues between us is beyond repair ...

Beeno

This is another idiotic non-rugby thread started by Mozart and the backbite floored him completely.   The idiotic AO fell into the same hole Mozart created all by himself and so did Denny.

For instance Mozart's latest campaign against Du Toi is based on him only being capable to play for 20 minutes in a game.     Based on what?   On his concocted imagination  based entirely on deception.

You are welcome to join their level of idiocy all based on the wild imaginations of Mozart in his pet hate campaign against players.    I credit you to be more rugby knowledgeable than Mozart and co, and where I differ from you it relates to rugby issues - not personal BS.   So have your own way to go - at present it is all in BS creation by Mozart and co.   Get away from, that lot and remain dedicated to rugby issues.

Moz might not be a PSDT fan but he has given credit where it was due quite consistently.

There's evidence here to support that.

One thing Moz doesn't do, unlike most of us, is fall for hype.

Anyway, this is the rugby section. There's no rugby right now...So please everyone let's create some fun threads here

Rooi I don't tbink Eben is hyped.

I think the level of expectation is fair considering his size, skill and experience.

He just habitually performs well below what should be par for him.

I for one still rate Eben. But not enough tha t I'm willing to accept one decent game a year as payment for being first on the sheet all season.

Cannot agree more with what you wrote here.   I do not think players should just accept that whatever they produced they are still a selection certainty.   \That causes under-performance by them  and Etzebeth and Vermeulen are typical examples of that,

If there was any space in tests matches before the WC - it might have been possible to leave the habitual loafers out of the team - it may just put some spring back into them.

And the Burger hype hey Pissmint....when you kept assuring us Puke Watson was the real deal. As for the Turncoat from Denotter, it takes a very needy person to do a 180 on his whole philosophy, just to join the Mouseketeers.....was he abused or just genetically unlucky?

You previously referred yo Mozart's approach to Du Toit.   I have never seen him being objective when it comes to Du Toit.   His most recent utterance was that Du Toit should not be in the Springbok team because he can only play about 20% during games.

he would try and imagine instances to criticize Du Toit and at one stage started an average of two threads a week purely to criticize Du Toit.

If that sounds objective you are welcome to it - I do not fall for that type of BS,

Eben was injured last October. Apparently it was pretty serious.....he never played again till August, nine plus months. He was catapulted straight into the Rugby Championship.....then got hurt again against England. His rugby season was 8 games. Last year when Pollard came back from an even longer layoff, he also struggled to find his best form. Tokkie was all over the Board telling us he was all washed up. But with a full season prep in 2018, he is back to a top 5 in the world flyhalf. Frankly I was very encouraged by Etzebeth's form...he was money in the lineouts and very physical in rucks. He has lost none of his legendary strength, which was a concern given his nerve damage. He will be even better next year and the cornerstone of our WC pack.

No Mozart

What you wrote is true and only slightly twisted.   In the first instance -

*    Etzebeth performed excellently in the 2015 WC; and

*    Pollard did not - Meyer had him in and out of the team regularly after the Irish test  (November 2014) and in the WC tests Meyer first used Lambie in the Japanese tests and then went back to Pollard.

Problem was that in the WC it was impossible to perform as a flyhalf bearing in mind the Meyer game plan used in the 2015 WC.    Since then in 2016 and 2017 Pollard rarely played any rugby,

Bearing in mind what happened in the case of Pollard as a result of Meyer's selection and playing strategies there was no way Pollard's performances could have been realistically assessed.   Fact is the BS of Meyer - where only  circa 20% of the balls passed by scrummie went to the flyhalf - nearly destroyed Pollard as a player.     That is why I expressed the hope that he could get over the career handicap he encountered under Meyer and that he can develop his own contribution despite the handicap he played under in 2015.   Bluntly put - he has had to prove he could still perform despite what Meyer did to him.    .

Etzebeth was not in the same category,   Granted he was injured in November 2017 and was out until August 2018.   Bearing in mind his performances on Super Rugby and tests since 2015, there was nobody who queried his abilities as a player.   He did wonderfully well in his return game and everyone thought he is back to  his best - in the remaining tests he  became a low activity player.   Did well in most things - but because it happened infrequently there were question marks as to his performances and work rate.

Nobody wants Etzebeth out of the team - but everybody has the right to query his low work rate evidenced in the last 6 tests played by Etzebeth.

The primary runner and tackler is a team tactical decision. Eben never played those roles this year....Stephanie and Mostert did. That governs a huge amount of the perceived involvement. Frankly we need a blocky runner who can break tackles....the locks typically don't do that.

Alberts
The most clumsy player in years who often fell  over his own feet and who had a average carrying distance of 2,2 meters per carry  in tests and 1,8 meters in Super Rugby,   Was easily tackled by ay player going low on him.   However, he was also a low work rate pace-deficient player. whose value as a test  loosie can at best be descried as near to zero.
And why not use Vunipola's real name what he is known in as a rugby player in the general public?

Who has been rugby union's player of the year for 2013? Kieran Read 39.9% (1,068 votes) Leigh Halfpenny 42.36% (1,134 votes) Israel Dagg 2.39% (64 votes) Richie McCaw 1.53% (41 votes) Eben Etzebeth 3.32% (89 votes) Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe 1.57% (42 votes) Ben Smith 3.44% (92 votes) Israel Folau 1.87% (50 votes) ........ Lood de Jager did a terrific job taking over for the departing Victor Matfield at lock this tournament, but second-row partner Eben Etzebeth was the man who stood tallest among their pack. The Springboks were at times lacking in firepower, exploited most in their semi-final defeat to New Zealand, but Etzebeth demonstrated his attacking prowess with a try in the bronze final win over Argentina. Writer Brendan Gallagher dubbed him as one of South Africa's finest performers, bringing a constant (tapered) aggression to the team and functioning more as a flanker for the most part. ..... And from best 30 rugby players in the world in 2017: 17. EBEN ETZEBETH (SOUTH AFRICA) The giant lock was handed the Boks’ captaincy for their final Test against France and could be given an extended run in the role. Has taken on the strongman role in the South African engine room from Bakkies Botha. Much of South Africa’s hopes of competing with the All Blacks in the Rugby Championship will revolve around the 6ft 8in enforcer. .......... So Etzebeth has been a regular among the elite players in the game for 5 seasons....not as judged only by the South Africa press, but as judged by the world press. Some show pony.
