Agree it does not look the same now. Should still have enough one hopes. Anyhow some less experienced players get a shot which is good for the longer term.

Yip.

I see Faf is doing the wise thing and bowling Tsotsobe out. He is in his 6th over straight. Very good choice i think as Tsotsobe is a new ball specialist, he is always expensive with the old ball.

Currently he is going at under 3 so he should hold the NZ batsmen good.

100 career wickets for Morne Morkel.

32/2

BJ Watling lbw b Morkel 12 (33b 2x4 0x6) SR: 36.36

Tsotsobe is replaced by McClaren. Hmm he has 4 overs left. and only an old ball....lets hope Faf knows what he is doing.

Faf brings on the spinners to up the over rate as well.

Peterson went for 3.

Faf brings himself on from the other side Concedes two runs very good over, And smith smudges the last ball of the over on the sweeper boundary and he goes for 4. so thst 6 runs off his first over.

Hopefully the leggies and left arm spin from peterson can combine well.

Faf had 3 overs went for 6.33.

Replaces himself with Kleinveldt, they need a wicket .

Very dissapointed with the outcome of this game. This was the worse batting performance by an SA one day middle order in recent history.

5 runouts, unheard of!!!!!

only one runout is acceptable (Miller) the rest could all have been prevented. Decent communication!!!!!!!

ok rant over.

2 good things from the game.

1. de Kock has what it takes to open at this level, he just needs a bit of experience and exposure.

2. Ingram came to the party forthe first time since his debut hundred against zim.

 Well done NZ!!!

  1.  All of the SA batsmen deserved to be there, but not at the same time. There was a total lack of experience and leadership in the batting order. When Smith went after his brain-fart, the rest fell like a deck of cards. New players should be phased in one at a time over a longer period.
  2.  When AB's suspension was announced, they should have immediately called Kallis in the squad.
  3.  We need a big hit bat to come in at 7, we have none. I'm talking someone in the mold of Albie Morkel. Must be able to bowl a couple of overs as well.
  4. We must learn to respect the opposition, irrespective of their ranking.
  5. Its time for Hudson to go. What was he and Gary smoking before filling out the team/squad sheet?

Kallis was a must fo rth isone a we had to win it. He could hav ejust batted if necessary. Why does he need so much rest?

5 run outs - has this ever happened before!  Very annoying stuff. Fortunately for me I was watching the tennis!

I might be wrong but I think it has happened 6 times before in history.

If Morkel also had the runout in his stupid walkback move he pulled then it would have been a record, I don't hink 6 runouts has ever happened before.
