Arrogate . . .

I have been a passionate follower of horseracing for nearly all my life and I have seen some truly great racehorses in my time . . . both local and international.
I'm talking of the likes of Horse Chestnut, Pocket Power, Model Man, In Full Flight, Sentinel, Bush Telegraph and Empress Club as well as international stars like Dancing Brave, Secretariat, Mill Reef, Frankel and Black Caviar . . . but I don't think I've ever seen anything like the incredible Arrogate.

The last one is something pretty special . . . a bit like watching Secretariat winning the 1973 Belmont Stakes, but completely different circumstances.

Perhaps one of the best horses ever to race in SA the great SEA COTTAGE, I think is worth a mention.
