Nadal beat two players in Round 1 and 2 respectively.   If he can beat the player in the quartefinal he shall encouinter  Dimityrov and that si not going to be easy for him.

It is  a problem with this kind of tournament  that the seeded players are often not in th top 20 anks in the tournaments dcuse seeds falling out before the sem-finals.    In the Brisbane tournament  there  ae only 2 seeded players - Rune and Dimitrov - still in the emifnals.   In the case of the Hong Kong  torunamnet the only remining seded player is Rublev - so at least one of th e finlists will be an unseeded player. 

Nadal ran out of steam in the third set of his game against Thompson.     

Nadal now says he is not sure whether he will play in the Aussie Open.    In the meantime  - the finals at the two running tournaments  in Hong Kong and Brisbane will be played tomorrow.

Rublev played a shocker todxay and so did Dimitrov - but they won their matches.   Theyw ill have to up their performances drastically or they will not win tomorrow.       .
