The USA uses a different progam of seeding of playes in ATP 250 tournment by seeding 16 players compared to the European and oher countries only seeding 8 players. In Europe none of the remaining 2 seeds would have been seeded.
In fact with the US Open starting on Sunday the quality of particpants in this tournamrnt series has been weakened. A really good player amongst the above is Korda, His ranking drop badly beaus a long injury absence ghas been weakened drastically and I hope he wins the present tournament to start improving his pesent ranking of 77 to the top 32 rankings wher he used to be.
