There is very little known about the draws for the three tournaments since the draws have not been finalized yet - but some comments are none-the-less made:-

The Rio Open 

The Rio Open last year was won by Norrie - who beat the injured Alcaraz in the final.   Alcaraz will be the number 1 seed - but for the rest it looks like Norrie will be around the number 7 seed - he is badly out of form this year so far this year.

The Qatar Open

The 8 seeds are as follows:-

Nadal has submitted his name as an entrant - but whether he will actually turn up to play is anybody's guess

I am surprisedd that none f the top US players are playing in Los Cabos - but they msy be interested in playing in  Acapuldo the week after tthee ournaments emntioned .

The Round 2 matches in Rio have been badly effected by rain and there are still 7 uncompleted matches.  

I saw for the first time today an 18 year old Czech player by the name Jakub Mensik performing extremely well and getting a well-deserved win against the 23 ranked player in the world Davidovich Fokina,    Watch out for him in future - his next opponent will be Andy Murray - he will soon be in the top hundred players in the world and will end up in the top 30 within a year.   The guy is still in school - but he will be a very good tennis player in future.

Alcaraz is injured and did play only 2 games before he retired in Round 1 in Rio.  Seems like he may be injury prone - a bad sign when it comes to his future tennis playing  career.    

Now back to Jakub Mensik - after beating  Davidovich  Fokina - he went on to beat Andy Murray and is next up against  Rublev on Friday.   Rublev said Mensik has vey g ood shots and he has huge potential as a tennis player.
