There are a number of  ATP 250 and APT 500 tournaments played before the start of the Shangai  Masters tournament  on 2 Ocober 2024 and I wil update the rankings as to what happened in the tournaments to be played and start a new thread when the latter tournament start.

27 of the ranked players was entered to play in the Beijing and Tokyo tournaments.   In Beijing there were only two matches involved as seeded players and Sinner won - why Bublik lost,

I essense of the 27 ranked players who started in the two tournaments and of those only 12  are sill in Round 2  of which round still 4 matches are to be completed.    Amongst the plsyreers still to play their round 2 matches are 5 ranked players
