Bye Bye Barty

Too much Muchova....and the annual Barty party comes to an end. People talk about the red necks in the States but there are no more tiresome a bunch of jingoistic, xenophobic clods  than the Aussies. ‘She’ll be right mate’ .....not this time.

As for those beauty shots of Oz, what a joke. No country is uglier on a square footage basis. The camera guys do a great job of making a few Karoo koppies look good.....but the place is an eye sore. Look at images of Strathmerton to see the real Oz.

I just checked  - there has not been  an Australian winner in the Open since 1980 and only one male (1905) and one female  player (1980) were in the final and ended up as runners-up.

Agree not the most attractive country I have visited.
