How come they wiped the floor with the POMS in the second and fourth ODI's and lost the third and fourth ones?   There is something wrong with the team - and I think the problem centers around two or three players.   The main one seems to be the retention of Tsotsobe as a front line bowler and Du Plessis seems to be poor as a batter.   The latter is a magic fielder and his batting will improve - he had very little game time - since he was on the bench all the time in the POM tests.

Unfortunately the lapses in the second and third ODI's allowed the POMS to keep the number 1 position in the ODI's - should never have happened.

Well mike i can turn your question around.

How comde England Wiped the floor in the second and Third ODI's but lost the two ODI's after they whitewashed every single team coming to their shores this year in ODI's. These are the only 2 games they have lost.

Are they losing the plot?

Just be honest, one up and coming team against the top team, and face it England are deservedly the top team this year. To be in September and only lost 2 ODI's in the whole year. Whitewashing West indies,Pakistan and Australia in the process. Don't expect them to lie down we arean't that good yet.

We hope to have a good show in the T20's They have not been as dominant in the T20's this year as they have been in the ODI's. We have the better Ranking but not even by a full Ranking Point. so it will again be a close one.
