Unheralded South African Dean Burmester has crept almost unnoticed up the leaderboard on day 3 of the USA PGA at Valhalla and from almost nowhere he's now just 2 shots off the lead!
Rory Mcilroy is also on the move in the 3rd round but if neither Rory or Burmester goes on to win it, I'll be happy enough to see current leader Xander Schauffele finally win a major after so many near misses.

Hahaha….so why did the curse not affect Xander. You could literally see Rory collapsing after the curse, pitching into the water, putting like a 15 handicapper. Why did it not affect Xander?

Well look again at (sic’s) language…..if Rory or Burmester (sic) don’t win it….’I would be ‘happy’ if Schauffle finally wins a Major.’

Clearly not a prediction, just a statement of who he would prefer to win if the two players he was giving a chance, didn’t win. The curse was not activated.
