Personally I can't leave Brian Lara out of any top ten especially if you consider that by the time he came around the Windies were in decline and for the latter end he played under the pressure of  leading a team that had become a one man band. He also took on the best attacks in McGrath and Warne at their peak and smashed them out of the attack.

 Like you said, the Lara omission is surprising. Someone, who wouldn't get into any All time XI who I enjoyed watching though was Sehwag, a man who literally just went out to attack, ended up with very good stats too.

what XI are you hoping to see against the windies?

 Tough call to make, I believe the tracks are dry and slow??...in that case I'd go with 2 spinners. Abbott would have to sit out. I've been following Morris through the IPL, if he maintains the same effort then the Proteas can be a factor. Pity about his age, still he's the allrounder our lot has been screaming for since the departure of Klusener. Very disappointed about Miller, no idea what went astray there,also think it's time for Riley to step up or ship out and again, I think JP could be wicket friendly.
