Olympics for another year should work in Wayde Van Niekerk's favour. He's had limited preparation thus far perhaps now he'll be able to enter competitions against good opposition.

He is a remarkably gifted athletic plus I read somewhere that he was considering the 200m as well.

He ran 10.2 in a 100 meter a few months ago, that in itself is a miracle considering the damage to his knee. Mentally he sounds positive so things must be working out well.
