Dricus beats Adesanya for the

The much-vaunted comeback of Adesanya was stopped in it's tracks over in Oz on the weekend when Dricus finished Adesanya in the 4th round by submission.

I know that most of you don't watch MMA but I'm gonna post a series of videos below to catch you up on the back story of the situation between these two prior to the fight...

Dricus said this a few fights before becoming champ...

 

And indeed, Adesanya attempted to turn this around into a race thing. He claimed that Dricus was a "cracker" and that he wasn't really African. Through Dricus' victory over Whitaker, he'd earned himself a title shot. 

Israel Adesanya was at the fight and came into the ring afterwards...saying this...to Dricus...

Dricus ended up winning the title fight against Stickland...making him the new champ since Strickland had taken the belt off of Israel Adesanya. 

Adesanaya now gets to fight Dricus but Dricus isn't the challenger, he's the new champ...

After a year out to refresh and watch Anime...The fight between Israel and Dricus is set.

In the interim, Adesanya had been all over the place turning the narrative into one of race...there are countless clips but here's one...

Dricus, in fact, never brought race into it...he was simply stating that he is the only Champ that is taking the belt back to Africa, where he resides. Obviously, the implication being that it will inspire MMA in Africa. A point he made over and over again. Nevertheless, Adesanya's view was...

As it turns out, Dricus is an uber troll. In the lead up to his title fight with Strickland, Strickland ended up literally crying  due to Dricus hurting his "feelings".

And Israel Adesanya is now the second UFC champ that Dricus has made actually cry, before beating him. 

Adesanya was playing the race card , and that Dricus was somehow a privileged white guy. And all it took from Dricus was to ask Adesanaya how many servants Adesanya's family had in Africa before moving to NZ (or something along those lines)...basically pointing out Adasayna's hypocrisy. Here is what happened...

And then this is how the fight ended this past weekend.

What a fight ... what a win.

I watched it with a group of about 60 people, and the atmosphere was incredible... and when that tap came, we all erupted....

Izzy has "changed" his nationality a few times himself, and there is apparently also now a viral clip going around from some documentary of sorts where it shows clips from his father talking about how Israel came from a well to do or wealthy family, that had servants looking after him, so this has now led to a lot of people giving him shit for his hypocrisy, and which is why I believe DDP mentioned that servants comment at the last press conference, which resulted in Izzy crying.

There is also a clip of the UFC security holding Eben back when DDP won, and then another clip showing how Eben reacted when some reporter asked DDP what round Izzy will knock him out in..... Eben was right behind the guy who posed that question and apparently told him what a shit question that was....both classics.

Can't believe tat Izzy ended up running away from Dricus.

Guy literally turned his back and ran.

It's one thing to get KO'd. Being submitted ain't a disgrace either.

...but to be running away, back turned, moered and then felling to the ground to be submitted. He gave up his back because he'd had enough.

All that talk...and that's how it ended.

Very very sweet win for Brakpan's 7th best fighter.

That other new clip where it looks like someone doctored Dricus's Monster drink at the post press conference is funny...

There is talk that Eben put some Brandy in it, but it is not yet confirmed and probably won't ever be.... but you must check his face. ...lol.

Perhaps, the outcome of Whitaker and Rabbit Lip...to fight the winner of that fight.
