Duplantis breaks the world pole vault record an 8th time

….on his first outdoor attempt, clearing 20’ 5”. It’s one those highest, fastest, strongest records. A man under his own power, with a pole jumps more than 3 times his height. Duplantis is only 5’ 11”.

It whets the appetite for the Paris Olympics. London was great….Paris could be too.

We actually watched the pole vault finals at the London Olympics. The seats were right opposite the jump….awesome.
