I have always enjoyed watching this quiet girl with her elegant power. But after her early Wimbledon win, her confidence has always seemed very fragile. In the Australian against Pegula and in the final against Sabalenka she came back after ostensibly blowing winning positions.
Hopefully this puts the demons behind her and she has a great year, she certainly has the power to be in the top 3. One of the few women who can go toe to toe with the power of Sabalenka But honestly these days I’m a fan of any girl who doesn’t grunt and shriek.
