My tip for the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes is #1 Farnan @ 5/1

I see September Run won....your choice of Farnian came 10th...not a good call.

Farnan pulled up lame.

My tip for the the big race tomorrow(Melbourne Cup) is one of the internationals, Anthony Van Dyke. Carrying top weight of 58.5kg up a long straight is the only query. Other horse I like is another international, Sir Dragonet, who won the Cox Plate a couple of weeks ago. Of the locals I like Very Elleegent.

It's just a lovely time of the year, just a pity about Covid.

"....the horse than came second was named Modesty...hilarious."

Go easy on the dop......there was no horse called Modesty in the MC and the horse who ran 2nd is "Tiger Moth"

Now there's a good sport.

I was not referring to the Melbourne race but a separate amusing incident that happened to a jockey, in England when he was riding a horse called Modesty and his silk rods slipped off showing a bare bum.

You jump to assumptions without listening and invariably get things wrong.

My bad, I should've looked at the clip instead of jumping to conclusions. Seems like it's me who needs a dop! There, I've just given myself an uppercut.

But hey what rotten luck I've had through the two top races, Rooinek will probably find it hilarious that I nobbled both my tips LOL.....this after baiting him as a nobbler lol

My tip in the Cox Plate pulled up lame and my tip in the MC, the English import, broke down and had to be euthanized. Obviously it's always sad.

Still I love the sport and horses are my favourite animal, I've been to the MC, it's an experience never forgotten. We'll go again someday.

Backed a horse on sunday, ran at Greyville, it's named Frosted, backed it at 10/1 only had one other bet and then pulled up stumps. Nothing like the joy of backing a winner specially if it's an outsider.
