what the thinking behind leaving Steyn off the team and going with Wiese but clearly Wiese can't be the better option. The game against the Afghans was the ideal opportunity to give Dale some game time but instead it was wasted on Wiese who I daresay will probably never play another game in this WC....he is woeful. It was plain dumb to leave Morkel off the squad for Wiese.  Morris is by far the best bowler of a Yorker in the attack and he is suffice for the role of all-rounder. As predicted, Duminy is doing alright as a batter on Indian wickets but I would up Miller in the order so that he bats ahead of Duminy. The Protea batting is starting to show some spine, it's their attack that still needs to get a grip and the solution lies with Dale Steyn.

Nice to hear Morris bowled well....we never got today's game in the States. We did get India and I have rarely seen more menacing spin bowling.
I have been puzzled by the Wiese thing from the start. Face it he mostly features as a bowler...and he is darn ordinary in that regard.

Moriss once again came to the rescue as the Afghan opening bat tore the Protea attack to shreds. He treated Abbott and Rabada with disdain. Moriss got him with the perfect Yorker.....I'm still unsure why Rabada or Abbott didn't try the yorker. As for Wiese....I've yet to see a bit of value.

Have to say Denny you've been pretty much completely spot on with your predictions thus far...it's very much a case of our bowling letting down a very solid batting line up.

If they're still really worried about Phangi's action then why the hell have they taken him to the WC, because if they;re confident he's improved it and isn't chucking anymore then he should be in the team.

A massive shame that JP is out for the WI again, who to replace him?

It's a tough call....so is the Nagpur wicket, it's nothing like any other wicket the Proteas have previously played on .
Both Abbott and Rabada have been ordinary. Steyn lacks game time and now a major risk to be thrown into the deep end on a spin friendly wicket. The pitch doesn't suit Morris either. I'm glad I'm not one of the selectors.Quotas unfortunately is a selector on it's own.....yep who da hell needs dat!Based on the current squad I'd stick with...
1) Amla 2) QDK 3) Faf 4) AB 5) Miller 6) RR/ Behardien 7)  Morris 8) Phasingo 9) Tahir 10) Steyn 11) Rabada
