You wrote nothing….you never ever admitted Joker won Wimbledon on a string dedicated to Wimbledon results. All because you aren’t big enough to admit your stupid mistakes . We need no more tennis strings from you.

Sure Hishikori - who was beaten by Rublev before - had a very good match in Tokyo and was a surprise winner.   That being said I am surprised about you not harping on the age issue gain - poofter.   Now stay off this thread please - it is merely giving information to tennis followers and not aimed at your normal BS.

Final Match-up

4     Alexander Sverev       vs      12     Karen Kachanov

Although Sverev represents Germany in tournaments, he is from Russian descend   His  parents left Russia in 1991 and settled in Hamburg, where he was born in 1997.

He is likely to beat Kachanov in the final.

Well done to Sverev, he seems like a decent chap and a big win has eluded him. This will make the Grand Slam for the Joker harder, although 5 sets suits him better.

Yes indeed Mike, both Sascha's parents represented the USSR in tennis and his brother is also a player of note. He does seem a very pleasant chap.

We wish him well.

Mozart

I am not convinced at all about the "five sets suits him better" statement.   In the tournaments he won he played in no five sets in the final - mostly four sets.    In the Aussie Open he played 1 match involving a 5 setter and that was against Fritz - the final test was touch and go.

He lost a lot of matches in other tournaments where he did play and all of those he lost in three sets,    That was the case in the game against Sverev  and also the Bronze medal game  against Carrero-Busta  this morning.

Seb

Sverev seems to prefer to practice against  Russian tennis  players in training sessions.   His favorite training partner is Rublev - from what I have seen in videos on the issue.   The other plyer he regularly train with aside from Rublev is Tsitsipas - the three seems to be closely linked to each other by friendship as well.

Just another story  - after  one of his games a journalist from Yorkshire  asked him a few questions and Sverev's response was "from  which country do you come from - you speak in a language I do not understand at all?

The journalist said he is from the UK and mentioned Yorkshire,    Sverevc said he will have to look at his schedule and see whether  he could fit in a Yorkshire  tournament so he an larn thir language.

By the way did you fi nd that book I mentioned earlier this week?

In order for him to win in 4 sets….it has to be a 5 setter. Think about it.

Winning three sts and losing 1 makes it a four setter.   A ficve setter

only coccurs when after four sets the players were 2 each and is a deciding set.

You dumb ass …..tennis is either a five setter or a three setter. If it ends in 4 sets it was still a 5 set match.
