Magnificent Match….one forgot how great Novak was at his peak. Today at 37 he showed us again. The forehand he hit at 2-2 in the second tie break was atomic.
Undoubtedly the greatest of all time.
Carlos is having a great season and once again showed fine sportsmanship. A worthy successor. Who else will emerge one wonders.
There are two tournaments coming up next week and rom 1 Septenmber hat will impact on the further career in playing tournament tennis and those are -
.* the Cincinatti Open starting next week and
* the US Open starig on 1 September 2024
Both the 2023 tournmanets were won by Djokovic in 2023. He won 3 of the Major las year and so far none this year, Losses in those two torunaments are going to send his ranking downwards sharply in the rankings, Djokovic has played n only 8 tournaments this year thus far, and he himsel said he will retire from ennis alogether if eh is not comptitive anymore. If he loses both the above his ranking will plummet badly and may be a sign he is going to not continuing playing tounament tennis in 2025.
