Posting Images on Ruckers - Guide

Posting images from the internet:

This one is easy...

Find the image you want to post. If the image is in search results like google, etc, click on it until you eventually get to the image on the site that it's on.

1) Getting and copying the image public address.

Since the image is on the internet, it already has a public address, meaning you don't have to create one for it. You simply have to get the address and copy it.

Step 1 - copying the image public address

1)

On PC - Right click on the image, a pop-up will appear, click "Copy Image Address"

On IOS - CTRL + click on the image and select "Copy Image address" or "Copy Image URL"

On Mobile - Keep your finger on the image until a menu appears, select "Copy Image Address" or "Copy Image URL"

Step 2 - pasting the image URL into Ruckers so that it can display it.

Now that the image is copied, we will paste it into the Ruckers platform.

1) Navigate to the Ruckers platform, open the new post or comment that you wish to make - Above the box where you normally type your posts there are numerous icons. The two icons at the end look like a chain and a film reel. We will use those to post your image.

Note: on my Windows 11 PC, using Google Chrome, the Chain Icon does not work. So, I use the Movie Reel Icon instead, and it works for me.

2) Type some text into the Box where you normally make your posts EG "Below is the image of me being a cavemen"

3) Hit Enter twice so that the you are now two lines below your image

4) Scroll up and click the Movie Reel Icon - a box will appear

5) Paste the URL that you copied into the box.

6) Click the "Save" button"

Your image will now appear in the message. If you click Enter again, you will now be on the line just below the image and can post more text. If you'd like to post a second image after this text then hit Enter two times again, taking you to two lines below your text, and repeat the process above to add another image.

Posting images from your personal device storage(Mobile, PC, Etc) to Ruckers

Read these instructions thoroughly before you go to step 1. When you click on the link in step 1, you will navigate away from this page...

1) Click on this link - https://catbox.moe/

2) Once it takes you to the catbox site, save the page you land on as a favourite/bookmark in your browser - this will prevent you from having to navigate there manually in future when you want to post images on Ruckers.

3) Once on the catbox site, click on the Blue Box that says "Select or drop Files"

4) Find the image on your device, select it, and click open.

5) Catbox has now made a public address for your image. You will see the address for the image in a blue box, pictured below. Click the blue box with the address in it to copy the address. It will automatically copy when you click on it.

6) Navigate back to the new Ruckers post or thread comment that you wish to post the image into.

7) Type some text EG "See, I'm still a caveman", then hit Enter twice so that you are now two lines under your text.

8) Click the Movie Reel Icon - this will open a pop-up box

9) Paste the address you copied in step 5 above into the pop-up box and click Save

Your image will now appear in the message. If you click Enter again, you will now be on the line just below the image and can post more text. If you'd like to post a second image after this text then hit Enter two times again, taking you to two lines below your text, and repeat the process above to add another image.
