The Missus and I saw him last night [ she saw him back in 85 in Brisbane too ] and for someone who  is 67 he was freaking amazing ! 3 and a half hours without a pause flat chat ,makes some of these younger singers look p!ss-weak with barely enough energy and music to fill 2 20 minute sets which seems the norm these days . There was a young bloke holding up a sign begging to sing "growing up " with Springsteen ,they handed him a guitar kid had his own pick and alongside Springsteen he nailed it .Back in the day we barely had the time or money now we have the money and have had all the time we ever want to see thanks ! I missed him in 85 was away on exercise but he may have less hair and more lines on his visage but he sounds every bit as good I would tell anyone who likes him to go see him while hes touring .And Silvio AKA Stevie van Zandt still cracks me up ,from pinstriped mafioso to bandana wearing rock god hahaha.

Saw him 3 years ago at the FNB stadium in Johannesburg. Same thing . . . he belted out hit after hit with barely a break. It was pouring with rain and he just stayed out there on stage and played. Legend!

The whole concert was amazing but I have to single out the very last song of his encore. I knew that he normally finishes his concerts with my favourite track Thunder Road as his last song but I was still anxious and hoping against all hope that he'd play it. He did. He sang it solo alone on stage with just him and his guitar. A memorable and emotional end to a great night.

My wife was hanging out for him to play her favourite ,that being Thunder Road of course !I wanted to hear 'Born in the USA " but I understand why he wont play it of late.Brilliant lies and "Darkness on the edge of town " would have been cool tohear but I understand why they need to rotate songs so no beef with that .And your right about him being a legend !Took me 32 years but I finally got to see him,we have more time and money these days so next week its 'American Idiot ' appropriate for these times and in April off to Melbourne with our girls to see "book of Mormon"Cheers

American Idiot appropriate indeed, but "Holiday" is my fave Green Day track.

Hell I saw Frankie Valli at the Ravinia Festival last year. On stage more than 2 hours.....82 years old.....sounds like he did 50 years ago.

Cloudy sell the farm if you have to but get that ticket !!!Moz like the old saw about tunes and fiddles in the case of Frankie Valli and Springsteen it was never truer. And theres a weird connection with Valli playing a Mafiosi alongside Stevie Van Zandt [ Van Zandts wife sang backup for the E-Street band as well as playing Silvios missus in the "Sopranos " ]
