LOL, I hear what you're saying but the Big 3 generate the lion share of cricketing revenues, so they're entitled to make decisions that best serve their markets regardless of the effect these decisions may have on others. They can include/exclude whoever they want into their exclusive little club. It makes no difference how many trophies you have in your clubrooms.
Its not dissimilar to the argument SARU apologists make when challenged about South Africas ridiculous crusade to include yet another cellar dwelling Super franchise. The truth is, the inclusion of an extra team will disrupt a competition that depends on an even distribution of teams in their respective conferences. One conference with 1 extra team upsets the whole apple cart. The addition of another weak SA'n side does nothing to improve the reputation of Super rugby as the worlds premiere tournament either. It hurts the brand for everyone else and could potentially affect future sponsorship earnings.
Unfortunately for NZ and OZ, SA do generate the most Super money so they are entitled to flex their muscle and leverage a better deal for themselves. In terms of competition results,(NZ has won umpteen Super trophies) its a classic case of the tail wagging the dog but we must endure SARU's short sighted whims nonetheless. Yup, i feel your pain bro.
