Rocky was the legend of our youth….but I think Mike Tyson was the hardest puncher. I watched a video of his greatest hits recently….you can see the shock on the opponents’ faces as they field the first punch.

That said Tyson couldn’t take a punch like Rocky, perhaps because of his substance abuse issues…Holyfield and Lennox Lewis knocked him into lala land .

I’m going with Deontay Wilder as the hardest puncher I’ve seen. Until he met Tyson Fury, he was undefeated on 42 fights with 41 KOs. Terrible boxer though. In his own words, his opponents have to be perfect for 13 rounds while he only has to be perfect for a split second. Started boxing at 19 and won bronze at the Olympics a year later. Such a pity that nobody ever taught him to box properly. https://youtube.com/watch?v=j5Nx8RUut1M
