Come on Chris Froome, come on Louis Meintjes and come on Romain Bardet!

Those are my favourites in the General Classification but I rate Richie Porte as a genuine threat to Froome this year.

Still not sure if Mark Cavendish will be riding but I'll be supporting Team Dimension Data for stage wins throughout.

If anyone is interested, UDT have an excellent Tour de France Fantasy competition and I'll set up a pool if even one other person is interested.

Peter Sagan - the odds-on favourite to win his 6th Green Jersey - has been disqualified from the Tour de France for causing an accident.
Not too much sympathy from me, especially if Cavendish's injuries mean he also pulls out. It was a shocker!

Sadly, that incident also saw Mark Cavendish retire with a broken shoulder. 
Two of the greatest sprinters of all time out of this year's Tour because of one moment of madness!
Will be an interesting fight for the green jersey now. Marcel Kittel is probably the new favourite but on yesterday's form, Arnaud Demare might be the better bet, especially as (like Sagan) he gets himself into some of the reduced sprint finishes.
