A very slim looking Carlos was taken out by perennial bridesmaid Rublev. To me he looks pretty normal now for a tennis player after being pumped up last year. One wonders if this is some new regime to prevent the cramping which has affected him from time to time.

Did you watch the match at all. I did and noticed that Alcaraz had an arm problem during the match and that no doubt had an impact on the match outcome. Alcaraz has already announced due to his arm injury he will not play in Rome.
