Nothing the big man did wrong, one of his team mates - Nesta Carter - was tested retrospectively and tested positive so the Jamaican Mens 4 x 100 relay team was stripped of the gold medal they won at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Story here.

Bet Carter is not Bolt's favourite person right now!

To be fair, the authorities didn't have much option. There's only one person at fault here and it's the drug cheat.
I feel sorry for Bolt who is a true legend and deserves better but I'm also glad that they do this retrospective testing and name and shame the cheats all these years down the line.

Irrespective of the way you look at it Cloudy, the team won with a cheat, so his run contributed to their overall win, therefore the team must lose their medals, not just the one runner.

I wonder if the second placed team get moved up in the medals, can't see why not

No, not sure who came second, but I can't see why the medals can't be promoted to the second placed winner.
