Wrong place to put this thread.   Both sides make outrageous claims.    Basically the foreigners fighting for Ukraine are part of he infamous Asov Battalion - which the UN listed as a mercenary and terrorist organization.   The Americans even admitted that they are committing crim es against humanity and requested that the Battalion must stay away from their Nazi insignia and methods.

35 major nations abstained from the voting -as well.   However, this item deals with casualties of foreigners fighting for Ukraine and died in the war.   Both Ukraine used foreigners - the difference being that Ukraine formed the Asov  battalion long before any war started and they were found by the UN to be mercenaries and terrorists based on 2 incidents that happened in Ukraine in 2015.   In the one the Asov battalion used  women and children as human shields when they attacked Mariopol in 2015.   The other incident related to a strike by workers in Odessa in the same year.   There was a protest meeting by the workers in 2015 in Odessa - in other words a labour related issue and not a political issue.   The protest meeting was fired on   by the Asov Batallion and the protestors fled into a building and hall owned by the relevant Union.   Both were wooden buildings and the Battalion decided to set the buildings on fire.   When the workers tried  to flee from the buildings they were shot and killed by the Asov soldiers.    Over 1200 people were murdered  a a result.

The USA would have to stop arming of the mercenaries and terrorists involved so the Batallion was absorbed as an offiial part of the Ukraine army.    The USA Government felt embarrassed by th fact that the Asov Battalion usd Nazia insignia and methos - so the U SA asked or the battalion not to use he relevant insignia and methods,   They kept the ninsignia as low-keyed - they never changed their methods.   The US Army said they are aware of the fact that the  Battalion is guilty of war crimes as well.   

So stick to the topic please.    The USA wanted the Ukraine War and got it.   Blame them for the war anyway.              .    .    .
