Why not do away with the coin toss before a cricket test match and just allow the visiting captain to decide?

This not only does away with the luck variable, it cancels out some of the home ground advantage and - more importantly - encourages the groundsman to try prepare a pitch that doesn't favour the side batting first or fielding first.

I see someone has been reading up on Ricky Ponting who suggested this years ago.

I would agree with it

Total plagiarism by Urinal......here is the source "Former Australian captain Steve Waugh says he is open to a radical push from Ricky Ponting and Michael Holding to get rid of the toss from Test cricket. Under Ponting’s proposal, the away side would choose who bats first in order to counteract any advantage the hosts could gain from preparing a favourable pitch. “I don’t mind that, I think that’s not such a bad thing,” Waugh told Melbourne radio station SEN. “At the end of the day I think there’s probably too much emphasis placed on the toss and the conditions away from home. “I don’t mind the authorities looking at some other options.” West Indies fast-bowling great Holding has twice backed Ponting’s idea in columns penned for Wisden India. Holding believes eliminating the toss will force home sides to prepare competitive surfaces." Every idea Urinal presents as his own is in the Ponting/Holding proposal....shameful.

Absolute rubbish. Believe what you will, I've been saying that for years and I had no idea Waugh or Ponting was saying the same thing.

The word is plagiarism. It was even reproduced on the Roar, your former blog site. I'm guessing that's where you saw it first. And you want us to believe you by sheer chance came up with exactly the same supporting points as Ponting/Holding.....and not one addition or deletion. Come off the grass plagiarist,

It's very easy to prove

Just post a single one of these posts of yours where you "supposedly" proposed this idea before Ponting did

Simple

Failing that, it just proves what most people on here already know, just another example of you plagiarizing someone else and attempting to take credit for the idea

Man, you hit new levels of low every day on here

Did I say I proposed it on a message board, Dumb Ass? What if I said it on a now defunct board? Huh chump?

Anyway, I couldn't give a flying toss if you believe me or not. Carry on shrieking and obsessing over me, it's always good for a laugh.

Don't know if it's funny or sad to see someone so obviously consumed with rage and literally seething with anger trying so hard to pretend that he's laughing.

Either way, Dumb Ass, all this self-righteous and strident shrieking on your part is pretty pointless because I truly don't care what you think about me or anything else. I know I've told you this before but it seems to have had very little effect on your single-minded fixation with me and what I say. Perhaps a visual aid might help . . .

I sincerely hope that doesn't send you into yet another purple-faced fury . . . but I'm not holding my breath!

Says the one who decided to sit down, have a drink, and take the longest time to write a very detailed thumb suck article about me, that was over 800 words long.

Talk about fixation......... LMFAO !!

Just look very carefully here at how stupid you are really looking now......
