1) A small political shift on a global platform with billions of users, has an effect which is orders of magnitude beyond what you think . The interactive nature of these platforms only compounds the problem.

2) It does not matter if it's the left silencing the right or the right silencing the left, it will have dire consequences. Saying that both sides should silence each other, shows that you don't have a fundamental understanding of this topic.

And what you also don't seem to understand is that my opinion would be the EXACT same regardless of which side was being stifled.
