I don't think Rassie is going to make too many changes to his starting "A" team . . . if any. I think Rassie has had a clear view of his best starting XV for some months already and the only position where he seems to have changed his mind is hooker where Bongi Mbonambi has replaced the relatively out of form Malcolm Marx.

Don't think there'll be much change to the game plan either but the one thing I'm hoping Rassie will do is instruct Faf and Pollard to kick fewer up and unders and rather put the ball out. Let's put the Japanese lineout to the test. The more set pieces in the game the better for us. I hope we see lots of scrums, lots of lineouts and lots of structure.

Discipline will also be key from here on in. The refs are very strict on dangerous play and we all know how a red or even a yellow card can change a match. The old adage "tackle low" has never been more appropriate than now.

We really do have a great opportunity here to cruise into the final and then knock seven colours of snot out of whichever team battles through the other half of the draw to stagger battered and bruised into the final.

Go Bokke!

Sometimes a hard path can bind/elevate a team into next level Jedi sh!t....but if the Boks can stay focused, we might just do it. Go Bokke!

Agreed, it was quite evident that Japan have been playing ball in hand from almost any possition. I am sure that they fear the set phases especially the lineout. If Faf continues with the up and under the Books and my TV are going to be in danger.

We know the enemy...they are much better than a few weeks ago, but will still be familiar...and the loss of 4 years ago will still hurt enough to prevent any complacency.

Go Bokke! Skop gat!
