Glad the "powers that be" (bent?) are being understanding of the poor wee Boks & their struggles, they needed a bit of a morale boost.

I do think that the one that Reinach rounded off against the poms was superb too.

I am with you on Hougaard's try against the AB's - the ebst backline try I have seen for years - especially since it started in the Springboks 22.
I also rate Reinach's try a gainst the English as one of the best this year.

 Surprised to see Gareth Anscombe there, thought that a Welshman wouldn't be a part of the nominations. 

 Now then chippo if your gonna have a crack at another blokes team he has right of reply ! Yes 2 very good individual tries from the boks ,but for team efforts I would nominate the Crotty try vs Ireland and the Fumaina try against the poms.Well I suppose Anscombe is an each way bet seeing as how these days he qualifies for both countries .

 I like tries that showcase winger pace....so of the tries I've seen I'd nominate Teddy Thomas against Oz. Awesome!

I do not think that the Thomas' try last week was actually based on pace - it was more of being a slippery customer in a confined area.
The tries identified by the panel of IRPA was in the main based on technique and team efforts involving more than one player - not necessarily by theplayer who finally scores the try.   
Obviously you would not rate the tries of Hougaard and Reiach - since those two players according to you are of the poorest players around.   I must agree that Hougaard is not up to standard - but was it neccessary foryou to not even mention the try scored by Reinach when you evaluated his performance of last week? 

So how many players did Reinach beat in scoring that try. Hmmmm.....could it be zero. Well he caught the ball and fell over the line. Fabulous.

Look instead of lauding Lambie for a simple chip kick, and Reinach for his belly flop....why not praise the two guys who deserve it. That would be Laubscher or other party for coming up with the set move. And above all Willie for taking the kick, ghosting most of the way and then offloading perfectly.

You Lambie/ Reinach groupies were so anxious to give them credit...you took Willie's stellar contribution for granted.

Trie evaluation should be judged by team performance and technique evaluation - not by the person who scores the try only.   The combination of a pin point kick - the follow-up by Willie in catching the ball and drawing in defenders andthe follw-up of Reinach and taking the lay-off to score the try - are top class technical application.
But you are too simplistic in your evaluation of anything pertaining to rugby to make a real assessment  - so I suppose that it is all lost on you.   If the try was implemented and scored by Morne - we would here about that one for the rest of our lives - but Lambie?
