For 2013 Poite would have to take out first prize - and only for a single performance

Actually I change my mind - Bryce Lawrence. Because in 2013 he is still the most hated ref. I didn't read the topic properly.

So how come the Aussies dont have a problem with Lawrence ? Oh I see its only when stuff doesnt go your way [ from anyones viewpoint] that a ref is no good .Poite made one crook decision and he is in line for threats of violence ? Refs have an enormously difficult job and its not made any easier by being threatened and having stupid girly farcebook campaigns mounted .Barnes screwed the pooch but time to give it a rest .Unless you want Rugby dumbed down like league or [ shudder' soccer you have to put up with a complex game that is hard to ref with any exactitude .Any country who's "fans" make it impossible for a ref [ who after all is refereeing a game ] to go back to should be ashamed .This garbage attitude extends to junior grades where it is becoming diffcult to find anyone willing to officiate because of abuse ,mostly idiot parents but more often these days young players themselves.Heaven forbid it gets like soccer where refs have been murdered of late .

Can't say I hate any of them. If the topic was which ref made the biggest mistake in 2013 I would pick Poite. But I don't think he is a bad ref overall, he made a bad call on the day.
