1.The Stormers/WP(lets face it unlike New Zealand,our CC and s15 teams are the same) are the first South African side to win a Currie Cup and the South African Conference titles in the same year.Although the Bulls have gone 1 better and won Super14 and CC in the same year in 2009,but in terms of the CC and Conference titles,this is the first time someone has won both of them in the same year.
2.Allistair Coetzee,to my memory,is the first non-white coach to win a Currie Cup(I think,might be wrong),touchy subject,but it might inspire future coaches
