Super XV Predictions
Lions- Should continue the good form of last year - and have perhaps added even more depth to the squad. They should also get the easier side of the draw this year. (non-new Zealand teams). Lions to take top spot from other SA teams
Sharks- Having disposed of Gary Gold- the picture is looking brighter. Gary Teichman has also replaced John Smit.
Teichmann has the business experience- but does he have the rugby administerial experience. Time will tell- but I suspect allmost anything is going to be better than the Gold/Smit fiasco.Sharks to finish 2nd in the SA conference.
Cheetas- An improvement from last years showing- but if injury strikes do they have the depth?
WP-Business as usual for the Stormers- so we can expect to see little to no tries.
BullsNo hopers I am afraid. Unless they have uncovered new talent in the offseason. If Tian Schoeman starts more matches things to get ugly.
Kings- a joke in bad taste. The first official amateur team in Super Rugby.
The Springboks-
The positive spin:More commercial backing- and perhaps a refresh of many of the coaching personnel. Perhaps less quota enforcement. If Coetzee does not improve, he could be toast after the four nations- with a New Zealand coach accepting the position.
The negative spin- More Indabas and more losses. Coetzee will accept the poor results because it is not entirely his fault. More enforced quotas- creating unbalanced combinations.

The Lions myth is over. Virtually every Lion has been discredited on the Intenational Stage.....they will finish mid pack. The Sharks will finish higher, but not make the playoffs.
Sharks 5
Stormers 8
Lions 10
Cheetahs 13
Kings 18
The Rugby Championship will be won by NZ, Oz second, Bargies next.. Boks as wooden spooners.
England will set a new record for consecutive wins.
The Lions will win one test in NZ
Coetzee will be gone before the YE tour.

I am not that optimistic- but teams that avoid New Zealand could make the playoffs- I think some SA teams are guaranteed 2 quarters regardless- due to the quota kings in the tournament.

No you dope it's a prediction.... I predicted they would set a new record, they tied the record. But then again I did warn that the game against Ireland was in doubt:

No doubt WD, but we are talking about Eddie's England. Ireland are going to be very, very tough on Saturday, they may do the job for you.
.....
Pretty much spot on.
