Rassie: “, while it was interesting for me to see how we went in the last quarter when we effectively had four flyhalves on the field in the form of Elton Jantjies, Handre Pollard (who came on at inside centre), Frans and Damian Willemse (who started at fullback).”

“How we were able to spread the ball wide when they were all playing together gave me something to think about. It is decision-making time for me now. I will select according to what we are up against in the quarter-final. Obviously different opponents will require different things from us.”

---

That is an interesting proposition having 4 players on the pitch with extensive flyhalf experience.

Flyhalves understand the game much better.....take it from moz. We have far too many hookers and tight forwards opining on here. What the hell do those plodders know about backline play.....the joys of the sidestep and finding the outside gap? But it doesn't always work ....remember the halcyon days of Louis Koen at 10 and Braam van Stadig at 12.

Well Mozart ... that explains your hilarious "egg laying counter ruck" lecture.

Remember that?

Perhaps you should rather stick to your little side steps and leave the real rugby to the boys up front.

We all know that it begins and ends there.

The best joke last year - the mighty Alberts need not try and recover breakdown ball.   All he did was to push the whole forward pack of the opposing team off the ball all on his own. I am still laughing about that one.  LMAO
