That is absurd -= even putting Hore and Mealamu on any list of top hookers is a joke in bad taste. They may have been of some good in 2007 - in 2013 they made no impact in any games they played in. Sentiment is not the issue - performances are.

14/14 says otherwise Mike and Mozie. Scientific evidence.

hore was fantastic for the All Blacks at the start of the season, but his form deteriorated as the season wore on, he was abysmal vs ireland.
kev got the job done for the All blacks, but he is now a bench player as age has caught up with the blues and All Black legend.
both kev and hore have held the All Blacks in good steed the last decade, but its time to move on from these two, and seeing the last of hore who bowed out with the All Blacks completeing a 100% season is fittiing for him and his illustrious albeit sometimes a little grubby career.
i doubt we will see kev in the RWC, but if we do, he will be the 3rd hooker of sorts and only be used if were up poo creek.
i love ged robinson as much as the next person, but if u watched hawkes bay in the ITM, u would have seen ged be completely outplayed by many hookers, especially teammate ash dixon who was his hawkes bay teammate.
dixon was the incumbent hooker for the magpies and rightly so.
dane coles is not in the same class as bizzy or strauss, but hes no chump and ive been very happy with his progress in the All Blacks camp.
remeber that deft little offload to crotty after he drew in two players which helped the All Blacks seal the test against ireland??? ive never seen strauss or bizzy do that and that wasnt the only time coles silky skills were showcased in 2013.
also look out for hurricanes back up hooker motu matuu, IMO hes going to be an All Black, and Lord have mercy on the rugby worlds soul, cos motu matuu sure wont when he unleashes the most devesatting tackles in the modern era.
another hooker to look out for is rhys marshall who made a name for himself in the chiefs this year.
id imagine mahorni schwalger to be the incumbent rake at chiefs headquarters with hika out for the season, but dont be surprised if marshall makes the jersey his own.
All Blacks rake depth looks a lot healthier then it has ever and here are the top NZ hookers in order according to the uchiha opinion polls.
1 dane coles
2 kev mealamu
3 motu matuu
4 rhys marshall
5 ben funnel
6 ash dixon
7 ged robinson
8 liam coltman
9 james parsons
man im excited about the All Blacks future regarding our hookers, cos all of these players would fit into the All Blacks squad, but the one im hanging out for the most is motu matuu, no one hits harder then matuu, period.

Bismarck is tops, Strauss is good and I still like old Kevin he always brings a spark to any team he plays for.

There is a hooker called motu matuu? I thought all hookers had to have names with more consonants than vowels. Those vowels buckle under pressure....you can't trust 'em.

I think he plays for Wellington Mozie. He is a bone cruncher and a head butter
