There is all this constant talk about how the same video of that specific disputed game, would also show that the Lions were also heavily done in, by the same ref, and that the inconsistent or wrong decisions would equal itself out between the two teams.
I would actually pay to see that happen....
Why has nobody yet, independently, released a tape, just like Rassie's, even anonymously..... on just the Lions decisions from that same game?
Rassie, is as shrewd as they come.... in fact, I doubt I have ever come across a more shrewd rugby coach before.... and given what he has previously done in the past, with tactics like disco lights, water boy duties.. etc etc..... don't for one second think that Rassie did not already dissect the Lions portion of all those calls in that game, on that exact same video, before releasing his own analysis.
Rassie knows the exact numbers of how many decisions were missed by the Lions and how many were missed for the Springboks.
Rassie would never challenge Gatland or anyone else, (which he did), to put together a similar video, on just the Lions decisions, if he had not already done so himself.
Don't also be surprised if that is a large part of the evidence to be put forward before world rugby..... I reckon the disparity between the 2 teams is huge, and that is why he did what he did.
