6 Nations veto Nations Championship Finals in Qatar worth £800 million

The proposed Qatar hosted finals of upcoming nations championship dubbed the super bowel of Rugby reportedly worth £800 million (or £200 million per tournament as Qatar looked to host the event 4 times) looks to be dead and buried. 

Apparently all the Zanzar nations where in favour along with Wales and Scotland, while England where 50/50 on it, but its being outright rejected by France and Ireland reportedly over human right concerns and also over concerns over a lack of fans due to the distances and cost involved in getting their.

This has reportedly not gone down to well with the Zanzar nations who are struggling somewhat financially.

Thoughts?

Well - if human rights issues  - as well as safety of people  -  are concerns the latest riots in England and glorifiction of anti-religion homosexuality and the result spectacle at the opening ceremony in Paris are also  taken into ccount - both England and France should never  host anything in future.

SA was supposed to host the last Rugby WC in 2023 and the technical C ommittee recoemmended SA - and England, France, Ireland,Wales and Scotland ganged up against the recommended host country and all I say screw the  above lot - they deserve to be fucked by the finger of fate..  .

Wales voted for South Africa you absolute spanner. Ireland where competing to host it for themselves as where France. England voted for Ireland, Scotland voted for France, how can one person be so consistently wrong on absolutely every thing he takes about.

That was the first round of voting that secured the France a host country you quoted - stupid idiot.   In the end the choice was between France and SA  and that is where the lot I mentioned voted or France,   Scumbags all of them and now to boycott the Nations Champuionships is becausse they know they cannot win anyway.

Glad to see the 6 Nations could do without the circ$80 million each of them stand to lose by refusing to play in Qatar,    So where d they want the finals to be played?    Sanzar has a full right to tell them the the series will not be played -- especialy since Qatar is not to be the venue,  Should it be in Ireland?         

Qatar can spend that money housing & feeding a multitude of boatpeople seeking a better way of life.

Which boat people are you referring to?    Th Gulf Staes are very careful not to et involved n migrants and woul dnt accommodate them in their own areas,   When in he 1980's Israel offered that Egypt take over the Gaza strip - Egypt told them politely to sle their wown problem and Egypt would do the same.    Egypt has enough problems already they do not want Gaza added to those.

The problem si there are actions in the Muslim religion and tose factions are at war with itself from time to time.   They do not want Muslims from other counries taking up on large scale reidence in the Gulf States.
