Man have you seen how quick this 22 year old is for the 7's Boks, he is a Cheetah, why on earth do they not have him playing S15 rugby. Big guy with plenty of gas

Yip

Also noticed.

Frighteningly quick.

I must say, there have been a few sevens Boks in the past couple of years who I have often wondered why they havent been snapped up by SR sides.

Yeah agreed some of these 7's guys should be playing S15. Jamba looks a really great prospect, especially considering he is a Cheetah who apart from le Roux, have bog ordinary wings

bro , nz Sevens coach Gordon Tietjens has selected around 50 players that have gone on to become ABs, Definitely an under utilised pool worth exploiting - arguably these players are specialist Sevens players and although the skills are transferrable they don't always excell the same in the 15 a side game for some reason. Although i could name almost 50 that have.

Gordon Tietjens has got to be one of the most underrated coaches around. Maybe a future AB coach and deservedly so.

I can understand some of the older players maybe becoming specialized 7's players but with some of the kids involved, it must be worth giving them a try out in the 15 man game. This lad Jamba is only 22 and has so much gas, and is big enough to surely make a go of 15's

what does he play in the 15's code. Wing, Centre, Fullback, Flyhalf, Loosie. These guys mostly land up at the 7's for some skills upgrade as they learn to run the right lines and not just try to run over people. Would be interesting. Does he play for Shimlas? or some other club. Maybe if we had this info we could understand firstly who is keeping him out of the team etc. Difficult to judge on somebody you actually know veruy little about.

He is a wing, linked to the Cheetahs. Given they have Willie le Roux as their only worthwhile wing, it would not be too difficult for the likes of Jamba to make an impression. He looks bigger than 88kg

Maybe they will give him a run in the CC when Willie goes back to Griquas. We can only wait and see.

He has pace however haven't seen him play the 15 man code, so wouldn't be able to comment on his skills.

Well for a wing, he clearly displayed good pace and swerve in the bits I saw him play and his defence is good, it has to be in 7's

correct, however we can only comment on his 15's ability once we have seen it.
