A lesson from Singapore 7: SA players must cut their hair off

The tournament provided another telling bit about the future of SA rugby.

The SA 7 team are contender for the world number one spot. This is not enough though to offset the effects of the terminal stage of the soon to be nation wide kolmanskop that is going to be SA.

During the game against Japan, a japanese player pulled out a SA player hair to tackle him. The action did not go unnoticed and was received by a warning.

Japan is an increasingly important customer to the world of rugby, a promise to sustain the game.
On the other side, SA growingly appears as a milked out customer, no longer worthy of attention and care.

The SA 7 squad has the quality to compensate for the disfavouring take, the game ended on a 52 -0  landslipe.

This is not the case for SA 15 that is unable to cope with a disfavouring environment.

The future is set: SA 15 is going to be that old glory that is meant to be used as a carpet to please newcomers.

 In other news, it is reported that bitter twisted individuals are hell bent on spoiling sport in South Africa. Hell bent on destroying what once was the white mans game, they are hoping to spite all rugby supporters in South Africa just because they have nothing to offer a great country. This has got nothing to do with the consumption of resources and all to do with hating on others having some fun left in life.

 Having fun: SA rugby team future is to be used as a punching ball by wealth rugby nations that are still lacking teeth. It might be fun for some, it might not be fun for others. To each his own.


On the main: SA has ruined the game for themselves. They have failed to take the professional turn. They took no right decision, only poor decisions. Useless to write a list of them once more.
It is giving too much importance to any writing on  SA rugby shortcomings.
SA supporters do not need to read any report on their rugby. All it takes is to watch their team play.
