Wow how athletic to jump over another player… and the player he jumped over, is not short at all. Imagine DDA trying that move, his jewels would have to be iced for a long time:)

Would that be the best 12 in the game?

Walter Payton would have been the best 12 of all time. Best runner I have seen….sadly died young:

Bullshit - that’s a huge insult to all the great 12’s that have played the game

How would you know Dave….I saw Paton and I have seen many of the great 12s. Paton would have been unstoppable at 12. And looking at those long passes he could have handled the offload brilliantly as well.

Insular pig headed ignorance.

Well I know that playing 12 is one of if not the most demanding position on a rugby field, I know that rugby is very different to AFL and there is far more skill required in rugby I also know that there have been some brilliant 12’s in our time and even the solid ones would be better than some AFL player who looked handy enough but boy there was some piss poor defence in that footage - no surprise really given the majority of the AFL players are big fat oafs with zero skill The only skilful players are the QB’s and wide receivers, the rest are pretty shit

Wehe . . . so now Moffie reckons the Gridiron sissy-boys would all be the best rugby players!

LMAO!

Take off their helmets and their shoulder pads and put them onto a rugby field and they'd burst into tears and go running off to get their nappies changed . . . sorry, their diapers!

The old out of date claim….football is far more violent than rugby now, with all the nannying from TMO’s.

Think about it this way Dave….football draws out of a population of 350 million and pays huge dollars for success. How likely is it that those players are big fat oafs with zero skill.

Well Moz I’ve watched plenty of footage of the game and there is no skill in being one of those fat oafs That’s just the dumb Americans paying huge amounts of money for a stupid boring game There is no way in hell that sissy game is more violent than rugby - not even close Those sissy’s are padded to the hilt with helmets the works There is very little skill involved, it’s like football - the only way to watch it, is the highlights packages

It’s soooooooo easy. It would be more fun if the opposition could construct a cogent argument.

Track and field my arse - totally different sports which is no measure of overall prowess in sport not even close Fuck me the States have huge amounts pumped into their sport and athletes - we can say the same for African countries now can we Rugby is a far far more skilful, enjoyable and dangerous game than AFL

Except this isn't a discussion of athletics prowess, it's a discussion on rugby prowess, not so?
So the relevant statistic here is South Africa 4, USA 0.
LMAO!
Go wipe all that egg off your stupid face Moffie, don't let it harden.

So how many games do you think we would win against the USA in baseball, football, basketball, ice hockey etc. Huh? Different nations play different sports and it’s almost impossible to compare.

Rugby is a game played by a tiny group of mostly college exposed kids in the USA. If it was mainstream the US would be awesome.

I much prefer rugby to football, which I find too static but it’s a game played by great athletes and it’s very physical. Those Dud Toit tackles that give you a thrill would be regarded as standard practice in football.

You really are an okie from Benoni.

Imagine those clowns taking off all that armour and tackling another player - they would shit themselves It’s literally only the States that play baseball and AFL because they think they are special having to create their own stupid sports AFL is a bunch of fatties with limited skill and baseball is all about throwing a ball and hitting a full toss out the ground Trust the yanks to get all wet over such shit. As for the basketball - fuck me now that is a boring game

Rugby and American football are both physically demanding sports, requiring a high level of skill, toughness, and endurance, but they differ in various aspects. Let’s break it down: Skill Level: Both sports require a unique set of skills. In rugby, players need to be versatile, as they switch between offense and defense without major breaks. Passing, kicking, and tackling skills are essential. American football players often specialize in specific roles, requiring them to master particular skills like throwing, catching, or blocking. Toughness: Both sports are tough, but the nature of contact differs. Rugby players endure continuous play and tackling without pads or helmets, relying on technique for protection. American football involves hard hits with protective gear, making it physically intense but in shorter bursts. Endurance: Rugby demands greater endurance due to the continuous nature of the game, with fewer stoppages and more running. American football, with its frequent breaks and shorter periods of intense activity, requires explosive power but less overall stamina. In essence, both sports are challenging in their own right, each demanding a unique combination of skills, toughness, and endurance.
