A review of the CC semi'e

Sharks
Fact is the Sharks has already under the coaching if Du Preez has finally undone the serious damage caused to the Sharks team by Whute and Gold,   They have an alround team and it looks to me like they would be very competitive in Super Rugby next year.     
Bosch has had a decent performance and although young and inexperienced he is showing signs of developing into a  top thinking flyhalf.
Schreuder has shown signs of being the best scrummie available at this stage.
Bulls   
After lingering at or very near to the bottom of the log for half or the tournament the Bulls started improving under Mitchell at a fast rate.   They have a omprehensive game plan and even though they made too many handling errors there are positive signs in their case..
Mitchell had to undo the damage Ludeke and Marais caused in this case and he has som,e interesting material he is working with.   There is the Riversdale guy JT Jackson who made some handliing errors -but is developiog into a useful player.  I also like the looks of the new Bulls scrummie Ivan van Zyl.
There still is one problem in that team and that is they need more prop talent.   Really one  of the teams to watch next year in Super Rugby.
Western Province
The game was not pretty to watch - way too many handling errors and too many penalties given away,   However of the youngsters they have a loosie by the name of Kobus van Dyk and JD Schickerling at lock who seem to be top c;lass players,   Both are still very young - but the commentators agree that Schickerling is a definite Springbok of the future.  
Lions 
The much touted Lions Springboks other than Marx had a poor day at the office.   It is clear that even on CC level Dreyer is not really top class - there is a load of other better Tightheads than him.   The other major disappointment  was Cronje.   His constant aimless kicks represent turnovers in possession that proved top be fatal in the RV tests but was equally fatal yesterday in the game under discussion/
I also was a bit disappointed in Van Rensburg but would not write off the Lions center-pairing at this stage.
