A salute to the webmaster

This site is now hopping, and will continue to get better. From a very quiet place, it has become the venue for civilized discourse on South African rugby. A great deal of the credit goes to Denny, whose recruiting efforts have been monumental. We are all relative newbies, but it's nice to see the daily flow of new, interesting posters.

We also should thank our webmaster, who listened to suggestions and made some very nice changes to our format. This site is almost left to self police it's activities. Unlike other sites there are no threats to posters, no heavy handed instructions about what you can or can't say, no protected cliques of posters. It's left to us to have fun, but also be respectful to our fellow members. And it works, what a revelation!

Agreed, Denny deserves a lot of credit. This is reminding me much more of the old SARugby.net board, but without the rubbish that went on.

Tx guys, that's mighty kind of you......and yes I'm inspired that this board is much like the old SARU board used to be until the troll rocked up. Moz, I'm glad to see you've regained your appetite to post, I know how disillusioned you'd become after our experiences on that woeful  site so it's a pleasure to see you enjoying yourself once again and making a meaningful effort on this board. With the board growing I'm sure we can all look forward to some great debates.

Yes a big thank you to the Webmaster fo real the improvements and decency he shows in running this website.

Also to my, mate Denny who I know has spent a lot of time recuiting and getting this board going. Wonderful effort.

As a semi troll I do hope you value the part played by trolls on boards. Every good plot has to have a villain.!! Hehehewhehehe

We do trust now that the good Doctor Moz is back in swing he will not use his abilitites to stir the pot and lead unwary posters astray on matters  eg re Jaque Fourie  aflop at center or wee matfield being the best lock ever.

Spot on Moz. Nothing worse than three big deal mods throwing their weight around. Thought things improved under B?  Protected cliques are out for sure. Impartiality is the word.

Webmaster I don' t know what it envolves but a mobile version is  needed as some folk can only access the internet via their mobiles?

Ive always stayed on the site, but it got quiet for some off reason.

But the Ed's seems to be on the ball on this site.

Also love the some of the features on the homepage.
 

What I like about this site is that it's the complete package. It offers everything in one place, which is a very nice convenience to have.

What about non rugby posts on some item or other. Shouldn't there still be a general board with the approriate heading or do we post non rugby items here as well? Heck has ou Hawkeye brainwashed me!!  German order and method etc!

Also what about an older posts should there be a page tab?
