Thanks for that Sasuke...well put together. Mozzie no room for QC only one from each country...not an easy exercise...I think our NZ friend needs full marks for this. Incidentally there are a lot of unheard players that play for weaker countries that are damn good...but IRB structures inhibit them...good players in Georgia that play in France. Lots of good players that play in Japan...good tom there...there is a paradox there...the rugby stadiums are pitifully empty but enormous Japanese companies sponsor the teams.
Me thoughts are too staid and traditional...one day when we are all dead and buried the bigger nations like USA, Russia, Japan will start rugby in earnest...there will be no more NZ, SA, Australia, France, England dominance. Times will change...I believe that rugby will catch on all over the world...the reason is simple it's a bloody good game...cannot understand why powers like in Europe, ie Germany, Russia and the rest are glued to Association Football only and USA and Canada are glued to only Ice Hockey, Grid Iron and Baseball,
When rugby will eventually take off it's going to be an interesting competition...unfortunately most of us will not know this as we will be giving the daisies a good shove. Maybe the world will terminate before that.
