AB Team announced

All Blacks: Damian McKenzie, Waisake Naholo, Ryan Crotty, Sonny Bill Williams, Rieko Ioane, Lima Sopoaga, Aaron Smith, Kieran Read (captain), Sam Cane, Liam Squire, Scott Barrett, Sam Whitelock, Nepo Laulala, Dane Coles, Kane Hames. Reserves: Codie Taylor, Wyatt Crockett, Ofa Tu'ungafasi, Patrick Tuipulotu, Matt Todd, TJ Perenara, Anton Lienert-Brown, David Havili.

 Sopoaga to start at 10. I guess McKenzie is 10 backup. ALB can play multiple positions so there is coverage for midfield.

 Not a bad team ,Retallick w ill be missed and damn but I wanted to see BB giving it to our wee Aussie mates !

Right Wardad, no real surprises. I am a bit uneasy with McKenzie as the backup 10 but they probably will keep Sopoaga on for 70 mins unless the game is well in hand. Coaches really are hot on McKenzie at 10 so hopefully he will get some time there. Looking forward to seeing the bench players get some time.

 Todd is now out with a groin injury so Savea is on the bench. He will be raring to go that's for sure

Bit surprised Richie Mounga didn't even crack the bench but I suppose David Havili will come on with about 15 minutes to go and Damian McKenzie will switch to flyhalf. Will be interesting to see if McKenzie can be as dangerous at 1st 5.

 ...Mitre 10 Cup premiereship semifinal this weekend which Mo'unga will miss as well - would be tragic if Canterbury lost because he was'nt playing ...at least he's finally cracked the ABs team...

 I would have been surprised if Mounga got time on the field as he hasn't been in the AB environment. Usually they have them in a couple of times before they put them on the field. Shame he is also missing the Mitre cup semi final also

 Cant wait to see McKenzie at 10 etc.

 Yes, Beeno he should do at least as well as that bloke you have (Jantjies) & he has a better hair cut.
