Barret unintentionally taken out in air. What an opportunity for the ref!. bad fall!.

Red card given. it was totally unintentional.

Game over. Switching off. well done ref.

Hi all. Just in time to see the red card That will ruin the game but according to rules no choice.

Yes, they are doing well. McKenzie will get a good run at ten.

Shame about the red card because France have been playing very well.

ABs are using the opportunity to give bench players some game time.

I think a red card was justified in this case - but the question arises why the AB's did not get a red for cracking the skull of a French player in two places.   Not even a yellow card - leave alone not a citing as well.   There seems to be two sets of rules - one for the AB's and another one for their opponents.   This will hit the papers again.

Another game ruined by the idiotic high ball jumping laws.

How many times now have fans paid good money only to watch an uneven contest.

WR needs to change the laws.

Simply make it so that jumping to catch a kick is not allowed. Totally nullifying something potentially career threatening as well as helping to prevent games being ruined.

Sure a good high ball take is entertaining but weighed against an entertaining match the choice is pretty clear.

I agree Plum, law doesn't help the game in this case. Game was ruined.

Terrible play by the ABs, well played France. A lot of guts and they deserved the try.

Watching the last 5 minutes. France score great try. Haha hahahahahaha wee abs outscored by Frogs in second half when only having 14 men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

French would undoubtedly have won the test with full complement of14 men. The hapless wee abs!!!!!

French won the hearts.

Great pity the down under ref never applied common sense. The French player was watching the ball and wee beau ran right into him!!!

...Looks like Mo'unga will get a call up after Barret was injured ...so it's about frickin time as he is the form 10 in Super Rugby for the last couple of years... i don't think Barret was concussed but they should rest him anyway so Mo'unga can get some AB experience before the next RWC...as much as a fan i am of DMac i would rather he stuck to fullback duties...

i see SA is also gambling without a backup 10 so they could similarly be in trouble if Pollard is injured...not that they have much to choose from...
