Is Meyer still  active in anything relating to professional rugby?   He always failed as a coach - maybe can be a B section Varsity Cup coach next year?

Why do you insist on putting this perfectly decent man down with nonsense like this?

He was fired, he did not resign. He was forced to walk the plank.

The problem with Meyer is he had no plan B. He was once asked what plan B was, he said it is to make sure Plan A worked.

His Stade Francias fiasco will go down in history as once the worst coaching efforts in history.

He was given the largest player budget in history to recruit players and his own coaching team. They got worse by the day, and now Stade Francais will be relegated from the first division.

Meyer is like Morne Steyn. If the pack totally dominates he is good, if not then he is useless.

Under Argentinian Quesada , Stade Francais were champs in 2015...when Heyneke took over then slid down to the ranks to end with wooden spoon.

I'll never understand how people can say he was a great coach...it's clear he was not even a good one. He was too staid and lacked the creativeness to change and formulate a n effective strategy in French club rugby.

Nevertheless I don't approve of people insulting him and showing him disrespect...there was a time that his style suited the boring mundane style of Bulls rugby. Boring but effective.
