Big Springbok flank Willem Alberts is almost over the shoulder injury that saw him missing the start of the Sharks’ Super Rugby season.
Alberts, who appeared as a guest on Boots & All on Thursday night, told us that he’s been working hard on and off the field as he recovers from a shoulder operation he had in February.
“Well, it’s almost ready. I’m up here in Gauteng to see the doctor for final clearance, so hopefully in a week or two weeks time I’ll be back on the field,” said the flanker.
He is also positive about where his team finds themselves after seven rounds of Super action, calling it a “good spot”.
